HOW MANY PUSHUPS WOULD YOU DO TO HELP AN AUTISTIC CHILD? Please help us address the urgent need to obtain services, therapy, and special education for children on the autism spectrum. Please join us on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the O’Neill Center at WestConn in Danbury, CT. Come and participate, or simply come and show your support. Spectators are welcome. Registered participants will do as many or as few pushups as they choose during the event. Donors may make flat donations or they can pledge toward the total number of pushups done by a participant. Awards are available for participants who choose to compete for doing the most pushups. Age and gender categories for awards will be determined as the event draws near. We have over $1000 worth of donated prizes to give away! You must pre-register online and raise a minumum of $25 to be eligibile to compete for awards and prizes. Official T-shirts for all participants who pre-register on-line and who raise a minimum of $25 at the time they register. You may also register on the day of the event- see the website for details. Hours: Pushups start at 10 AM and end at 2 PM, but you may arrive later and leave whenever you want. If you wish to compete for a prize, you must check-in before 10 AM - see the website for details. Proceeds from the event will go to the Autism Society of Connecticut (http://www.autismsocietyofct.org) and to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism (http://www.flutiefoundation.org/ ).
